Questions and answers

What is No Fluo?

No Fluo is a fluoride free and alcohol free mouthwash made with spring water, peppermint, tea tree, spearmint and lemon essential oils, calcium carbonate powder, concentrated trace minerals and stevia.

Does No Fluo contain fluoride?

No. It contains no fluoride.

Does No Fluo contain alcohol?

No. It is alcohol free, so it does not sting the way some alcohol based mouthwashes can.

Is it sugar free?

Yes. It is sweetened with stevia.

Is No Fluo safe to swallow?

No. Always rinse and spit it out. It contains tea tree oil, which is harmful if swallowed.

Can children use No Fluo?

Keep it out of reach of children. It contains tea tree oil, which is harmful if swallowed, and young children are more likely to swallow mouthwash.

When should I use it?

At a different time of day from brushing your teeth, for example after lunch. The NHS advises against using mouthwash straight after brushing, because it rinses away the fluoride from your toothpaste.

How do I use it?

Swish it around your mouth and between your teeth, then spit it out. Our guide on how to use mouthwash correctly has more detail.

Does No Fluo replace brushing?

No. The NHS advises brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and cleaning between your teeth. A mouthwash is an extra on top of that.

Does No Fluo prevent tooth decay or gum disease?

We do not make that claim. No Fluo is made to freshen your mouth and leave it feeling clean. If you have concerns about your teeth or gums, see your dentist.

I am allergic to an essential oil. Can I use it?

If you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients, including any of the essential oils, do not use it.

Where can I buy No Fluo?

Through our online shop, as a single bottle or a monthly subscription. See where to buy.

Is No Fluo on Amazon?

Not any more. It is now sold through our own online shop.

Safety: do not swallow. No Fluo contains tea tree oil, which is harmful if swallowed. Rinse and spit it out, and keep the bottle out of reach of children.
